This Privacy Policy explains how Heiko Rippe (“we”, “us”, “our”) processes personal data when you visit our landing page, submit the form, and continue to Eventbrite to reserve your free seat.

2) What we collect

  • Contact data: first name, email (when you submit our form).

  • Event data: when you continue to Eventbrite, they collect data needed for ticketing/attendance (they act as an independent controller; see their privacy policy).

  • Device/usage data: IP address, browser/device info, pages viewed, timestamps; cookies or similar tech for essential site functions and, if enabled, analytics/marketing.

3) Why we process your data (legal bases – GDPR)

  • Provide the event & manage your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR – contract/steps prior).

  • Send event information and related updates (Art. 6(1)(a) consent, or 6(1)(f) legitimate interest in service communication).

  • Security, fraud prevention, statistics, site improvement (Art. 6(1)(f)).

  • Marketing emails only with your consent; you can unsubscribe any time.

4) Sharing & processors

We use service providers under data-processing agreements, including:
KlickTipp (email/marketing automation), hosting/CDN/IT providers (to operate and secure the site).
When you proceed to Eventbrite, their terms/privacy apply and they are an independent controller for ticketing.

5) International transfers

If data is transferred outside the EU/EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses).

6) Retention

We keep contact data as long as needed to manage the event and related communications, then delete or anonymize it—generally up to 24 months after last interaction, unless law requires longer.

7) Your rights

If you are in the EU/EEA/UK, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, or object to processing. You may withdraw consent at any time.
